Tuesday..is a day of peace at least when you compare it with the other days..this day is our ward day..meaning rite after our morning class we go straight to either the male ward or the female ward..our job is to take a case..we have to begin with the history go on with the general and then local examination..at times this could be difficult based upon the cooperation of the patients..there are only a few patients normally admitted...pushpagiri actually doesnt have a very good reputation compared with the other hospitals..they charge excessively high..being the main problem..so we get to see only a few cases..at around 11 o clock the representative of our batch is supposed to go and call one of the sirs to conduct the case presentation..the case could be presented by any one of the students..well the best part about tuesday is that most of the profs would be terribly busy in the operation theatre and they dont normally come for the case presentation..so we become free by around 11.30..and we return back relieved..
Wednesday..this day is another Op day...on this day we have to either go to Dr abraham mathew sirs op or Dr ogv sirs OP..these two sirs are the good ones of the S1 unit..they have lesser patients compared to the rest and so they spend less time seing patients and more time teaching us..this involves several rounds of asking questions...well ogv sirs class is interesting..coz its basically concepts..he makes you think a lot...which is very much essential...abraham mathew sir is the silent one. a bit younger than the rest though his hair has turned white...he gets very few patients and he normally doesnt come to the op but is mostly in the OT..
